📘 User Guide – Color Mixer

1) Getting Started

  • Open the app and explore the top color headers.
  • Tap on a color header to view 90 shades of that color.
  • Long-press a header to see all colors again.

2) Mixing Colors

  • Tap a color cell to add it into a slot.
  • Use + / - buttons to adjust quantity.
  • Reset a slot by long-pressing it (Undo option available).

3) Favorites

  • Long-press on a color cell to save it to Favorites.
  • Tap on any favorite to quickly reuse that color.
  • Remove favorites with long-press → Undo available.

4) Mix Preview & Share

  • Mixed color appears in the preview box with HEX code.
  • Tap Favorite to save, or Share to send your mix as an image.

5) Colors Calculator

  • Access the Colors Calculator from the main menu.
  • Pick colors from your camera or gallery images.
  • View detailed RGB and RYB breakdowns with interactive percentage bars.
  • Tap on color headers (Red, Yellow, Blue, etc.) to explore mixing tables and select shades.
  • Long-press colors to save to favorites for quick reuse.

6) New: Add Colors from Images

  • Add from Gallery: Tap the Add button to pick any image and select colors from it.
  • Catch with Camera: Capture a photo and pick colors in real-time.
  • Both methods open a color picker for precise selection.

Mixing Modes Explained

  • Vivid Mix (Painter / Subtractive): Works like real paints or inks. Colors combine by reducing reflected light, so mixes may darken or desaturate as more colors are added.
  • Classic Mix (Additive RGB): Works like light on screens. Channels are averaged, so mixes usually stay brighter and lighter.
💡 Tip: Choose Vivid for paint, print, or real-world color mixing. Use Classic for digital UI, screens, and LED-based designs.
